Solquin™
Active constituents:
Each kg contains: SULPHAQUINOXALINE 145.0 g DIAVERIDINE 36.0 g MENADIONE (VITAMIN K) 3.6 g
A Sulphaquinoxaline and diaverdine act synergistically in the treatment of coccidia, because each active acts on a different stage of a single metabolic pathway of the parasite. Diaverdine interferes with folic acid metabolism, whilst sulphaquinoxaline blocks p-aminobenzoic acid (PABA) metabolism. This allows for an effective reduction in the dose of sulphaquinoxaline, which would be much higher if the active was used alone. The inclusion of vitamin K (menadione) in the formula assists the birds to counter the haemorrhagic effects of infection with the coccidia. Also available in 500g packs.
